Bioinformatics and Genomics

My name is Pedro Gabriel Ferreira. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Genome Bioinformatics Laboratory in Center for Genomic Regulation (Barcelona, Spain), under the supervision of Dr. Roderic Guigó. I am also affiliated to the Molecular Evolution group in Instituto de Biologia Molecular e Celular (Porto, Portugal), where I work in collaboration with Dr. Jorge Vieira. I am supported by a post-doctoral fellowship
from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, Portugal.

I have a PhD in Informatics, sub-field of Artificial Intelligence, from University of Minho. My PhD studies were done under supervision of Dr. Paulo Azevedo from the Department of Informatics of the same university.
